Electric Combi Boilers Company (ECBC) requires all authorised and external installers to complete an official Boiler Service Job Report when servicing an ELEKTRA or GUIVAL electric boiler supplied by us.

This report is used to:

  • Support landlord and property management compliance

  • Maintain accurate service history records

  • Validate manufacturer warranty and extended warranty eligibility

  • Record service findings in a structured, consistent format

The report must be completed at the time of service and submitted digitally.

Why This Form Is Required

Unlike traditional gas appliances, electric boilers are often serviced by a wide range of external contractors. To ensure consistency and protect both installers and property owners, ECBC requires a standardised reporting format.

The official Service Report confirms that:

  • System pressure and expansion vessel were checked

  • Hydraulic components were inspected

  • Electrical terminations were verified

  • Heating and hot water operation were tested

  • SMART connectivity (where applicable) was reviewed

This structured approach protects:

  • The installer

  • The landlord or managing agent

  • The appliance warranty

When the Form Must Be Used

The ECBC Service Report must be completed when:

  • Carrying out annual servicing

  • Completing bi-annual servicing for extended warranty

  • Attending a landlord compliance service

  • Performing preventative maintenance on ECBC-supplied boilers

Failure to complete the official report may affect warranty validation.
